2.  Sustainable Committee of the Greenwood- Phinney

   A group composed of community residents and business owners

interested in promoting and ensuring the vitality of the

Greenwood-Phinney business district.  We offer small businesses

voluntary assistance in planning and implementing waste-reduction strategies and sustainable practices.

Creating the political will for a sustainable climate by Lobbying our members of congress together.  Develop relationships with congressional representatives and local media through letters, phone calls and meetings.

6.  Phinney Neighbors for Peace & Justice

Meetings on fourth Sunday of the month.  Call 783-0990 for time & location or for other info. about the group.

Our purpose is to reach out and to nurture critical thinking and informed participation in local, regional, national and international issues of social justice & peace.  Current activities include weekly bannering & tabling, and spring & fall forums addressing current issues.
